ARMSTRONG BROTHERS BAND
The Armstrong Brothers Band has been playing country together since 1986. The band plays a modern Country music style known as the “New Nashville” sound. They also enjoy mixing in some recent vintage pop hits for the kids. Band members include brothers Jim, Joe, and Gerard Armstrong, with drummer/best friend Bill Holbrook.
THE JAMES LIBRARY CHORUS
The James Library “Studio Chorus” is comprised of choristers ranging from grades 3 through 8 and represent 6 south shore communities. The girls rehearse right here in Norwell’s town center at The James Library & Center for the Arts.
DECIBELS AND NHS STUDENTS
The Decibels are a chorus comprised of Norwell High School students. They are primarily featured at Norwell High School athletic events and coffee houses. The group and additional student performers are under the direction of John O’Briant, Director of Instrumental Music for Norwell High School.
Les Sampou is an American singer-songwriter and recording artist. Sampou has toured nationally since the 1990s performing at stages such as Montreal Jazz Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival, and the Toronto Blues Festival. She has recorded six albums for Rounder Records and as an indie artist. Sampou is known for her “diverse song styles, smart lyrics, and hook-laden melodies. Also, joining Les will be a few of her students that she coaches in voice.
Carolyn Flaherty is a singer songwriter from Norwell. She attends the Berkley School of Music and plays in and around Boston and Cambridge
Nectar is a rock cover band that hails from the South Shore.
Mike Visconti is an accomplished instrumental rock guitarist that plays a wide range of compelling music. He has opened for some of the biggest guitarist acts in the business. Mike, along with his band have residency at Haddad’s Ocean Café in Marshfield and play other venues throughout the South Shore
Soundstreet is from Norwell and features Andrew Bostrom on lead guitar, Stephen Sifflard on drums and percussion, Isabella Diaz on lead vocals and key boards and Christian Wenger on bass.
Soundstreet is one of the hottest young bands on the south shore coming off being featured in studio LIVE on 95.9’s WATD’s “Almost Famous”, winning every category of last year’s Hanover Day “Battle of the Bands” and over $3,000 worth of prizes, playing the House of Blues iconic “Foundation Room”, the Hard Rock Café Boston and dubbed future stars and one of the “Best Rock Bands” you’ll see at the Cnote Rock Club in Hull.

TOTEM is a 6-piece rock band hailing from Norwell. Band members include Gary Alex on Guitar/Voice/Words, Dave Kaslauskas on Voice/Words, Lee Alex on Bass, Mark Matta on Guitar, Ed Currant on Drums and Kevin Abdullah on Keys.
Totem’s music has an array of sounds in its arsenal which really demonstrate the versatility of this band. Songs like “Carried Away” punch through the crowd with intense guitar and bass work and percussion that has every foot moving. “Grateful” takes on a lighter tone for a quieter, but no less impassioned, performance. This band always get a huge response from their audiences, which shows the love by packing the house for all their shows.
Up-and-coming Nashville singer-songwriter, Rebecca Correia, who Vance Gilbert called a “broken-winged angel” after their first shared performance, is a young veteran with over 200 songs to her credit. Originally from Rochester MA, most recently, she co-wrote the song “So Long Goodbye” with three-time Grammywinner Keb’ Mo’. EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM (EBS)
The Emergency Broadcast System is our headliner for the day. EBS is a Boston based cover experience comprised of seasoned musicians with collectively thousands of shows under their belt. Whether playing the tiniest pub or Gillette Stadium, EBS has rocked it.
Where most bands shine in a specific genre, “EBS” can play it all. Like an iPod on random featuring pop, rock, funk, soul, alternative, reggae, or country…they got what you want and deliver it with a high level of energy and execution.
